The EXORCISM of EMILY ROSE

Richard and I got together to talk about the very unique horror/court room drama film The Exorcism of Emily Rose, by now-famous Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson (who is a professing believer). This movie really provided us an opportunity to talk about some important ideas. Should believers enjoy films that deal with demonic plot elements at all? If so, is it possible for this enjoyment to go too far? We also got to discuss the ideas of spiritual vs physical explanations for the unbelievable, as this movie deals heavily with the question of mental illness and demonic possession.
