We cannot in our fallen state simply march in and start breathing it in. Quarritch tries a couple of times but even he succumbs to the environment in the end. We must be transformed, wholly made new, before we are fit for the new kingdom. Our old nature is not fit for the wonder of that new kingdom and must be shed, put to death, before new life can truly begin.
