Raising a daughter as a single mom, knowing what it was like to be an attractive, vulnerable teenager myself, and knowing what I fell victim to has left me over protective. I appreciate your commentary, and am greatful that this is the last summer of her teen years. She did much maturing in Europe this spring and celebrates her 20th birthday in November, and a devoted disciple of our Lord Jesus. I am thankful for Mars Hill Church. Kristin was baptized at Alki, Sept. 2007. So sorry I missed this with you, but I will see it soon.

So excited! I walked into my neighbors house to drop something off for 2 minutes and saw 2 minutes of the movie... I asked them what it was and they said... "TAKEN"... I said to my self " I don't think I want to watch this one, looks good but not "safe" lol. Then yesterday I described the scene to my community group leader and he said, "That is the worst part of the movie, you should still watch it". So ya I'm excited to see the action of this father role for his daughter... something I always struggle with in my life with my earthly and heavenly father...
