They give the bad guys what they deserve. So that why Batman is one of my favorites super heroes. Like u I started to enjoy superman when I became older. What I like most about superman is that he is a “boy scout”. He is the ultimate symbol for good, of a savoir. His motivation is not revenge, But Truth, Justice… He is a hero because he is called to be one, that’s what he is. But that is also why I think that he is not as popular as the darker heroes these days, the darker hero’s are more like us, they appeal to our baser instincts. It’s easier to present an attractive evil than an attractive good. We by nature do not like the “Goody 2 shoes” person. We no we should want to be like them, but they are usually a mirror to who we truly are. People in need of a Savoir!
